As preparations for the 2nd Culture.mondo International Roundtable, coorganized by the Culturelink Network, are nearing their close, the final agenda of the event to be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on
20 - 22 October 2006, under the title 'Cultural Portals: A New Era of Cooperation' has been announced.

Based on the results of a survey sent out to some 500 cultural portals around the world, the roundtable will consider how we as cultural portals respond to our users' and stakeholders' needs, explore new avenues of cooperation and information, and provide an opportunity to share the way we measure our success in achieving our respective goals.

Offering cultural portal experts a unique opportunity to enhance their working practices, to recognize emerging trends and to exchange experiences through four round table sessions, the conference will discuss issues concerning Web 2.0, the emerging generation of Web technologies; cultural networks, portals and observatories in virtual spheres; a new era for international cooperation created by online cultural information services; and various measures of success relevant to portals.
