OPEN CALL FOR INCLUSION OF EXPERTS AND ORGANISATIONS IN THE EENC DATABASE The European Expert Network on Culture (EENC) has launched an open call for inclusion of individual experts and organisations in the EENC database. The European Expert Network on Culture (EENC) was set up in 2010 at the initiative of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture, in order to provide advice and support to its activities in the field of cultural policy. The EENC is coordinated by Interarts and Culture Action Europe, in cooperation with IRMO - the Institute for Development and International Relations / Culturelink Network, and it involves a group of 17 experts. Rather than carry out primary research, the EENC provides expert advice to policymakers by synthesising current research and relevant issues in a way which is useful for policy development. Among the tasks that the EENC has been entrusted to perform is the launch and management of a website, which should provide comprehensive information both on the EENC's own activities and on other developments relevant to the fields in which the network operates. The EENC website provides an overview of the outputs (papers, studies) produced by the EENC group of experts, and includes a broader database of individual professionals and organisations active in the field of cultural policy research. With a view to broadening and diversifying references, the EENC has launched an open call for inclusion of individual experts and organisations in the EENC database. Information on the selection criteria and procedures for inclusion of experts and organisations in the EENC database is available on www.eenc.info/network |
