As you may know, the Council of Europe is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year. In consideration of the valuable contribution that IMO has made to the cultural work of the Council of Europe, and in appreciation of the Institute's scientific achievements enriching the European cultural landscape, it is my pleasure to inform you that the Federal Chancellery will present IMO with a one-time grant of 50,000 ATS for its work in the European context.
