New Postgraduate Programmes at NTU School of Art, Design and Media and NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore
NTU School of Art, Design and Media (NTU ADM) and NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore (NTU CCA Singapore) announce new postgraduate programmes in 2018: 1. Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices (Master of Arts, coursework, one year) and 2. Spaces of the Curatorial (Master of Arts, research, two years, and Doctor of Philosophy).
- The newly created one-year MA programme in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices prepares graduates for professional positions in the highly complex and diverse museum landscape, and in the ever-expanding spaces of the curatorial. This programme is intended for the professional development of individuals who want to further their knowledge in curatorship, collecting artefacts, or to engage in cultural infrastructures.
Application deadline: 11 March 2018.
- The Spaces of the Curatorial programme (Master of Arts ,research, two years, and Doctor of Philosophy) starts in August 2018. This unique academic programme in Southeast Asia seeks candidates who wish to pursue intensive research within the framework of contemporary critical discourse in the wide-ranging fields of contemporary art and curatorial practices. The programme will allow MA students as well as PhD candidates to pursue interdisciplinary research within an environment in close proximity to the NTU CCA Singapore's curatorial programmes as well as its wide network of artists-, curators-, writers-in-residence and art communities and institutions in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
