Canon Foundation in Europe's Call for Applications
The Canon Foundation in Europe is a philanthropic, grant-making institution aiming to promote international, cultural and scientific relations between Europe and Japan. Every year, it offers about 15 Research Fellowships for European and Japanese researchers who are looking for funds to do research in Japan and Europe respectively. Who is eligible?
- European and Japanese nationals. Non-nationals should have permanent citizenship in Europe or Japan;
- Applicants with at least a Master's degree obtained within the last 10 years;
- Europeans are expected to do their research in Japan and Japanese to do their research in Europe.
Fellowships are awarded for periods of between three months and one year. Research can be conducted in all subjects as the Canon Foundation in Europe supports all fields of research.
The deadline for applicationsis 15 September 2018 (for research starting in 2019).
